Programming Logos

When I started working for SPL, all of our monthly programs didn't have an identity. I made it my mission to brand all of our programming so our patrons are able to identify all services and events that are offered to them. By branding our programs, it made it simpler and more effective to create cohesive flyers and posters! Checkout my website to view my work for SPL.

Arts & Science Saturdays
Arts and Science Saturdays is a monthly program is designed to educate children of all ages. Each month is an opportunity to create, explore and learn in a fun atmosphere for both kids and their parents.

Jazz & Blues
This musical monthly series features two important forms of American music.

Poetry, Pages & Scribes
A platform for poets, storytellers and musicians to share their works and the inspiration behind them in an intimate setting. Additionally, each evening will feature well-known talent. Hosted by Ber-Henda Williams with DJ Andre Royster.

Celebrity Readers
The Celebrity Readers Logo was created for the Southfield Public Schools Partnerships for Education Council. This program is to prevent illiteracy and encourage young people to read. Junior Library Board
For teens in 6th - 12th grades, this group congregate once a month to discuss the young adult collection, recommend teen programming and assist in a variety of projects that positively impact the library, its staff and the entire community.

Bookworm Bunch
For exciting stories, fun craft projects and science experiments, the Bookworm Bunch is a great place for your kindergartners and 1st graders! (No registration is required.)

Ravenous Readers
A book dicussion group for 2nd and 3rd graders that is limited to students who live or attend school in Southfield and Lathrup Village. Registration is required and begins the 1st of the month for each program.

Read to Andy
Andy is a reading therapy dog who would love to have you read to him.
