For SPL's Black History Month programs, I created a tri-fold flyer using fonts: African, Angel Tears and Myriad, along with Adinkra symbols:
Akoben (used for background)
"War Horn" - vigilance, wariness
Denkyem
"Crocodile" - adaptability
Gye Nyame
"Except for God" - supremacy of God
Mpatapo
"Knot of reconciliation" - peacemaking, reconciliation
Nyame Dua
"Tree of God" - God's protection and presence
Wawa Aba
"Seed of the Wawa Tree" - hardness, toughness, perseverance
With this, I incorporated all family, youth and adult programs for BHM, including our monthly exhibits.
