Craftnoon is one of the many programs offered during the Summer Reading Program, One World, Many Stories. Every Friday in July, from 1:00 - 3:00 PM, children from kindergarten to 5 th grade (with a caregiver) can make and take home something fun!
This blog is designed to keep readers informed about current events and display design work composed by myself that is affiliated with the Southfield Public Library.

Friends Mobile Book Sale
The Friends are going mobile. Their first stop is the Michigan First Art Fest held in Lathrup Village from Saturday, June 25 - Sunday June 26. For more information please visit Lathrup Village's website, http://www.lathrupvillageartinthepark.org/
I designed a new graphic for the Friends Mobile Sale by incorporating their pre-existing logo.

Summer Reading Program 2011
Every summer the Southfield Library participates in the Summer Reading Program provided by the Michigan Library Association (MLA). Each summer has a theme for all age groups and this year’s theme is travel: One World, Many Stories (Youth); You Are Here (Teen); Book A Trip (Adult). MLA gives all participating libraries packaged graphics and suggested programs to host for summer fun @ your library. With this, SPL customize our summer programs and advertising to fit our patrons’ wants and needs.
I rendered this vector graphic, using a sketch that my co-work drew, for the Adults Summer Reading logo.
